“Don’t Want Politics of Religious Fanaticism”; RSS and Congress Members Sever Ties To Join CPI(M)

Pandalam :  BJP and Congress members  walking  into Left camp were accorded massive reception in Pandalam as they  denounced the politics of religious fanaticism, opting instead  to iwork for humanness and equality under the red flag.  

Prominent individuals including BJP leader and chairperson of Ayyappa Dharma Samrakshana committee, S Krishna Kumar resigned from their leadership positions  with BJP to join CPI(M). . The reception event was inaugurated by state CPI(M) acting Secretary, A. Vijayaraghavan. . Incoming resignees numbering  over 30 included BMS’s regional joint secretary MC Sadasivan, BJP Municipal Commeittee Vice President MR Manoj Kumar, former Balagokulam Taluk Secretary Ajikumar Valakottu, former vice Municipal Committee vice president Suresh, Mahila Morcha Aranmla constituency secretary Shreelatha Vallikode, Panchayat Secretary Balamurly

Over 25 persons  left Congress including Pathanamthitta DCC member and former Panchayat member VD Babu, president to Karshaka Congress  in Adoor constituency, Panthalam Vijayan, Kerala Congress Adoor Mandalam president Idikula Varghese.



Pandalam Area Committee member KPCC Kurup presided over the event. Speakers at the reception meeting comprised member of CPI(M) State Committee KJ Thomas; State Committee members - R Unnikrishnan Pilla,  Advocate K Ananthagopan, District Secretary KP Uhayabanu, Veena George MLA, District Secretariat member TD Baiju and A Padmakumar; and S Krishnakumar representing  new members. The welcome speech was delivered by Pandalam Area Secretary, PB Harshakumar.
