As car makers prepare to reopen their factories, the flagship brands have rolled out unprecedented schemes to attract sales stalled by coronavirus pandemic, some allowing buyers to begin paying EMIs twelve months after their purchase.

Korean brand Hyundai is offering direct cash discount ranging between Rs 10,000 to Rs 40,000 excluding the exchange bonuses of up to Rs 40,000 on the Santro, Grand i10 Nios, Elite i20 and Elantra.
Car-market leader Maruti Suzuki is offering benefits ranging between Rs 10,000 to Rs 45,000 on almost its entire range.
With government easing restrictions, car showrooms have opened in several parts of the country especially in the green and orange zones. To tide over mobility amid lockdown, companies have launched online showrooms, bringing car purchase right into living rooms of buyers. For those booking from red zones, the deliveries will be made once curbs lift off.
